CURLING‎ > ‎

Payments

The registration fee for Winter 2019 Curling league will be $60 per player, due upon registering, with Paypal & Interac e-transfer being our preferred means of payment.

While we are a volunteer-run league where no person makes money, there are bills to pay to make our leagues happen, hence everyone must contribute their fair share. Because of this, we also have a strict "no pay, no play" policy. This means that registrations are considered incomplete and you are unable to be guaranteed a spot on any team, until full registration dues are in. Failure to pay could also result in us billing you or removing you from the league.

Information on various ways to pay your fees are listed below:

1- PaypalOne of our preferred methods of payment, Paypal lets you pay fees using a credit or debit card, even if you have no Paypal account. Please click the link here or at the bottom of the page to pay the league registration fee using Paypal.

2- Interac: Using the "Interac" feature in your online baking, you can use send an e-mail transfer of the registration amount to halifaxplays.curling@gmail.com.

NOTE: As of Fall 2018, Halifax PLAYS no longer accepts cash for registration payments!

That said, we also believe that no one should be denied a chance to play because of cost, hence if you cannot pay your registration, it may be discounted/waived in exchange for volunteer service or due to significant financial need (depending on the circumstances). For example, organizers the league, because of their service, pay a discounted fee.

Please e-mail halifaxplays.curling@gmail.com ASAP if you will be late paying fees, need special accommodations, or are dropping out of the league.

NOTE: If paying using a Paypal account with an e-mail other than the one you signed up with, please send us a message with info that help us identify and confirm your payment.
