CURLING‎ > ‎

Payments

The registration fee for Winter 2020 Curling league will be $115 per player, due upon registering, with Interac e-transfer being our preferred means of payment at this time.

While we are a volunteer-run league where no person makes money, there are bills to pay to make our leagues happen, hence everyone must contribute their fair share. Because of this, we also have a strict "no pay, no play" policy. This means that registrations are considered incomplete and you are unable to be guaranteed a spot on any team, until full registration dues are in. Failure to pay could also result in us billing you or removing you from the league.

Information on various ways to pay your fees are listed below:

1- Interac: Using the "Interac" feature in your online banking, you can use send an e-mail transfer of the registration amount to halifaxplays.curling@gmail.com.

NOTE: As of Fall 2018, Halifax PLAYS no longer accepts cash for registration payments!

That said, we also believe that no one should be denied a chance to play because of cost, hence if you cannot pay your registration, it may be discounted/waived in exchange for volunteer service or due to significant financial need (depending on the circumstances). For example, organizers the league, because of their service, pay a discounted fee.

Please e-mail halifaxplays.curling@gmail.com ASAP if you will be late paying fees, need special accommodations, or are dropping out of the league.
