Payments

Our preferred means of payment is Interac e-transferPlease note that unpaid registrants will lose their spot in the league if not paid on time.

While we are a volunteer-run league where no person makes money, there are bills to pay to make our leagues happen, hence everyone must contribute their fair share. Because of this, we have a strict "no pay, no play" policy. This means that registrations are considered incomplete and you are unable to be guaranteed a spot on any team, until any registration fees are in.

The fees for the Recreational Softball Summer 2018 season are $50.00 (No Tax).

There are various ways to pay your fees:

1- Interac: Using the "Interac" feature in your online banking, you can use send an e-mail transfer of the registration amount to halifaxplays.softball@gmail.com.

NOTE: As of Fall 2018, Halifax PLAYS no longer accepts cash for registration payments!

No one should be denied a chance to play due to cost: Hence, if you cannot afford the fees, get in touch, as it may be discounted due to financial need and/ or significant volunteer service. For instance, organizers & regular umpires often have their fees waived for volunteering.
 
Please e-mail halifaxplays.softball@gmail.com ASAP if you will be late paying fees, need some kind of special accommodation (e.g. cash payments), or are dropping out of the league.
